Strike Authorization Vote PASSES!

We have successfully completed our strike authorization vote campaign!

Here’s what that means - thousands of our coworkers voted to authorize a strike should our bargaining team determine it’s necessary to withhold our labor to get a fair contract.

Of the thousands who voted, the vast majority voted to support a strike. That sends an incredibly powerful message to OHSU management that we are serious when we say we demand a fair contract.

Management knows without us, there are no physical or respiratory therapists in the hospital. Without us, there won’t be meals for over 600 patients and workers. Without us, operating rooms won’t be cleaned between surgeries.

Because of YOU, when OHSU heads to meet your bargaining team at the table tomorrow, that is what they’ll be thinking.

By standing together in solidarity we’ve sent OHSU management a powerful message: ALL OHSU employees deserve a living wage and all of us are united in that message!
