OHSU Researchers/AFSCME RWU bargaining petition

The roughly 1,900 OHSU research workers are the backbone of scientific discovery and innovation that benefits our entire community—but too many of them and us are struggling to make ends meet. Since September 2024, Research Workers United (RWU) has been negotiating in good faith for a fair first contract that ensures living wages, job security, and respect for the vital work we do.

Despite this, OHSU management has failed to present a comprehensive offer that meets the basic needs of its research workforce. By signing this petition, you’re calling on OHSU to return to the bargaining table with a serious offer—one that values the essential contributions of its researchers and helps build a stronger, more equitable institution for all.
