It’s Time to Vote: Strike Authorization is LIVE!

Despite our members’ tireless work keeping Oregon’s top healthcare institution running, OHSU continues to offer wage proposals that fall far short of what it takes to live in Portland. Our goal has been clear from the start: a living wage for every worker who makes OHSU run. But management’s offers don’t meet that standard. Now, it’s time for us to show our power and stand together for what we deserve.

Which is why our bargaining team is asking members to vote to strike.

📅 Voting is open NOW through Monday, November 17th at 5:00 p.m.
🌐 Members can vote by logging into the HUB.

Once logged in:

  • Confirm your contact information

  • Click the “Vote” button, and choose YES to authorize your bargaining team to call a strike if OHSU continues to refuse to agree to a fair contract.

This vote isn’t just about wages—it’s about respect, staffing, and keeping OHSU a place where people can afford to stay and grow their careers. A strong “YES” vote sends a clear message to OHSU leadership: we’re united, and we’re ready to fight for the living wage we’ve earned.

Once you vote, talk to your coworkers. Make sure they’ve voted. Remind them that every single vote matters in this moment.

Together, we have the power to win a contract that honors our work and keeps OHSU strong for our patients, our families, and our community.
