Oregon AFSCME invites you to Join us for the 2025 Oregon AFSCME Political Action Conference, happening October 17-19 in Hood River, and to learn how to build power for your own workplaces and communities! Here are just a few things you can expect from this experience: 

• Effective Storytelling: Learn how to craft your own story to make it appeal to lawmakers and other important audiences.

• Political Power in Bargaining: Find out how to leverage support from elected officials to win better wages and benefits at the bargaining table. 

• Build-A-Bill: What does it take to turn an idea into a law? Find out at our workshop! 

• State Budget 101: How does Oregon’s state budget impact workers? What can we do to make sure it supports the work we do? Learn more at the conference!

Plus, you’ll hear from Oregon AFSCME leadership about the political landscape for 2026 and be able to share valuable input from your own locals to help shape our plan of action.
