Still Having Problems with Lincoln Financial Group? OHSU Needs to Hear from You.

AFSCME Local 328 continues to hear from members who are struggling with Lincoln Financial Group (LFG) when trying to access or manage their Oregon Family Leave Act (OFLA), FMLA, or other protected leaves.

Members have reported serious issues including:

  • Delays in having leaves approved or extended

  • Requests for unnecessary or incorrect documentation

  • Confusion or misinformation about Oregon-specific leave laws

  • Poor communication and difficulty getting responses

These problems are creating unnecessary stress for our members at times when they need support the most.

OHSU has told us they are working to address these issues—but to make sure these concerns are taken seriously, we need real examples from employees who are affected.

In your message, briefly describe the issue and include any relevant details (such as dates, case numbers, or the type of leave involved).

Your reports will help OHSU identify patterns, hold LFG accountable, and push for solutions that ensure our members can access their legally protected leave without barriers. It will also ensure any inappropriate disciplinary measures, such as occurrences, are removed. 

AFSCME Local 328 will continue advocating for fair and functional leave administration—because our members deserve better.
