State Wide Bargaining Summit

Dear AFSCME 328 members,

Oregon AFSCME is hosting our second Statewide Bargaining Summit virtually, on Saturday, November 4th, from 9am-1pm.

After last year’s successful inaugural summit, we are excited to announce we will have nine more workshops at the Summit for members to attend via Zoom. From bargaining benefits related to Paid Leave Oregon, preparing for a strike, negotiating health care benefits and engaging members, our 2023 Statewide Bargaining Summit will provide Oregon AFSCME member leaders the tools and information you need to bargain successfully in 2024 and beyond.

The full list of training opportunities include:

  • Bargaining benefits related to Paid Leave Oregon:

  • Negotiating over Health Care Benefits:

  • Preparing for a Strike

  • Strategic Thinking for Long-Term Success:

  • What do I know now that I wished I’d known earlier about bargaining?

  • Engaging Members in Bargaining/ Contract Negotiations

  • Powerful Communications

  • Bargaining Over Selective Salary Adjustments or Market Adjustment for Specific Job Classifications

  • Geographic and Industry Breakouts

RSVP now for Oregon AFSCME’s 2023 Virutal Bargaining Summit

This event is free for Oregon AFSCME members and is open to all AFSCME members, but we strongly encourage Local Officers, Stewards, and Bargaining Team members for any bargaining your Local has coming up in 2023 and beyond.

We look forward to walking through all our victories from 2023, answering your questions, and brainstorming for a successful 2024 bargaining!

In Solidarity,

Eben Pullman
