Contract Ratification Vote is OPEN & Update on Wellbeing Leave

Update on Wellbeing Bank if Ratification Passes

We have negotiated a side letter with OHSU regarding wellbeing leave if the ratification passes:

Side Letter re Well-Being Leave

In the 2025 negotiations for a successor contract, the parties tentatively agreed to

increase well-being leave by 16 hours, but did not increase the maximum balance of

well-being leave beyond 24 hours. In order to allow employees who have more than 8

hours in their well-being leave banks to use the increased well-being hours, on a one-

time non-precedent-setting basis OHSU will temporarily increase the well-being leave

bank maximum balance to 40 hours on the effective date of the successor CBA. The

maximum well-being leave bank balance will revert to 24 hours on the first full pay

period after January 1, 2027.
