AFSCME L328 & RWU Practice Picket: This Thursday!
AFSCME Local 328 and Research Workers United (RWU) have been bargaining for months, but OHSU has failed to offer meaningful improvements to our wages, benefits, or retirement. We are demanding contracts that reflect Portland’s high cost of living; far above what many OHSU employees currently earn. OHSU’s latest wage proposals fall drastically short:
Local 328 Members:
Greater of 3% or $1.25 in Year 1
2.5% in Year 2
2.5% in Year 3
Research Workers United Members:
2% in Year 1
1.75% in Year 2
1.75% in Year 3
The members of our locals make life-changing medical discoveries, support patients, and contribute to the health and wellbeing of our communities. The economic offers from OHSU leave frontline healthcare and research workers struggling to survive while serving Oregon’s only medical research university.
Join us to demand wages that reflect our worth and keep up with the cost of living!
