Employees at OHSU Hillsboro Medical Center are exercising their legal right to join our union and bargain collectively. Unfortunately, some staff are facing threats and intimidation from hospital management for trying to better their lives by organizing. OHSU employees must be allowed to organize without management attempting to intimidate and frighten them.

As a union, we must fight for a better society and protect our members, and that means we cannot be passive in this moment.

By continuing to do these things, we can continue to keep ourselves, our families, our coworkers and our communities safe. OHSU Human Resources has asked us to remind our members about the guidelines for wearing your mask while at work. When in doubt, wear your mask or face covering OHSU’s requirement is generally to wear a mask at all times and in all areas. There are very few exceptions to this rule.
