Budget Talks Update #11 -- Still Waiting

At the time of this writing, our union has yet to reach a formal agreement with OHSU -- the teams are currently clarifying a couple of items. While we still feel we are in agreement conceptually, that understanding has not yet been reflected in the final language of the letter of agreement.

Budget Talks Update #9 -- Working Toward Resolution

Yesterday afternoon we received a comprehensive counterproposal from OHSU that includes elements such as voluntary FTE reduction, a voluntary retirement incentive program, staff redeployment (both voluntary and mandatory) and a joint COVID-19 task force. The LOA does not include any changes to or reductions in wages. The CIRT is hopeful that we can find resolution on this matter soon, and we look forward to tomorrow’s meeting with OHSU.
