The Conference will take place over the weekend of March 2-4 at the all inclusive Camp Cascade in Lyons Oregon (https://www.facebook.com/CampCascadeOR/) Rideshares from the Portland/Vancouver metro area will be arranged. Join women from across the Pacific Northwest AFSCME locals to build community, engage and educate union members and strengthen networks.

Workshop #2 is Emergency Preparedness [ you learn what to do and have if the Big one hits] By: Denise Chion
Saturday Morning and Afternoon Classes are:

Effective Advocacy Skills. By: Barbara Byrd
Empowerment of Women with some AFSCME strong elements in the class. By: Deb Kidney
Saturday evening after dinner we will have a social hour with S'more's .
For the ladies that choose to do the Mosaic ,they will be finishing up. The rest us will be learning what each duties that the officer's of your union should be doing. So that if you choose to run for office in your local's you know some of the basices of what to do.
