Beyond OHSU: Local 328 Members Taking Action in the Community!
Updated On: Apr 25, 2013
Domestic violence can be hard to talk about, but you can participate in the conversation by attending a domestic-violence awareness talk on Tuesday, April 30, from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the auditorium of Oregon City High School at 19761 Beavercreek Rd. Please bring a non-perishable food and/or personal-hygiene item to donate! All donated items will benefit the West Women's and Children's Center.
This event was organized by Local 328 member Karin Miller's daughter MacKenzie (pictured here) as part of MacKenzie's Girl Scout Gold Award and Senior Project. It features speakers from West Women's and Children's Center, the Clackamas County Sheriff's Department and Clackamas County Children, Youth and Families Division.
See the attached flier for all the details, and help Karin and MacKenzie Miller bring attention to this critical issue.
Karin Miller is an administrative coordinator in OHSU's Division of General Surgery.
