Join us on Monday, January 21, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the AFSCME Council 75 office on 6025 E. Burnside St. for a free viewing of the movie "At the River I Stand." This powerful documentary explains the I AM a Man strike in Memphis, where Dr. King joined striking AFSCME members for dignity and justice. Popcorn and beverages will be provided by the AFSCME Council 75 Diversity Committee. Please bring a canned-food donation for the Oregon Food Bank. Another event will be held at the Salem office on January 27. Contact Tina Turner-Morfitt at turnermorfitt@yahoo.com for more information.
